I just made my reservation for lodging at the Adams Mark Hotel in Denver. I’m headed to the Search Engine Workshops next week. SEW worked out a nice little group discount. I guess the rooms are normally $189 per night (really?!), and I get two nights at $139 each which comes to $278 (I feel like they should throw in a massage for that much money!).
So, when the rez lady is telling me the summary details she says, “…and we will be holding your credit card for $319.28…) I interrupted, “I thought you said $139 per night?” She said, “Yes, but there is a 15% bed tax in Denver.”
That is another $40, just for tax, to stay two nights in a Denver hotel! Where is the justice? What mafia gang is running the show in Denver? I could stay two miles away at the Motel 6 for $40 a night and get the rest of the HeroScape action figures for my son with the difference. Hmmmm…
I think it’s really a bad tax.Anyway thanks for the information sharing with us.Keep up the good works.
Hey there would you mind letting me know which hosting company you’re working with? I’ve loaded your blog in 3 completely different internet browsers and I must say this blog loads a lot faster then most. Can you recommend a good web hosting provider at a fair price? Thanks, I appreciate it!
