Copywriting

Sometimes referred to as content writing, copywriting is a method of creating material for the Web in order to improve the user experience and often in an effort to achieve a higher ranking in search engines. Achieving this requires strategic key wording and phrasing. In a general advertising sense, copywriting also refers to the process of creating content in an effort to market a product, service, person or idea. A variety of media incorporates copywriting, such as radio, television, and the print media. Copywriters are either employed by advertisers or are independently contracted to write printed or spoken marketing materials, such as business letters, ads, and plans, in an effort to persuade or dissuade consumers into ascribing to a particular thing.
