DHTML, or Dynamic Hyper-Text Markup Language, is one of the current ways of being able to create web sites that are both interactive and user-friendly. The DHTML uses different combinations of static HTML, markup language, and a combination of presentation definition language like Cascading Style Sheets and Document Object Model with client-side scripting language such as Java Script that, when combined, create applications in a web browser. The application of DHTML in a web browser will create interactive forms and aid in the navigation throughout the browser. DHTML can be used to dynamically move elements around the screen or to create interactive excersies to use in e-learning software application such as WebCT and can also be used for creating video games that are browser based.
