Offline Web Promotion

Before I immersed myself into the Internet Marketing industry, I was a top performer in direct sales for 16 years. The latter eight of which I sold advertising. You could say that I am also an expert at selling advertising. And I had great products to work with.

Anyway, what I would like to point out is that there are many things you already do offline that could be slightly modified to also promote your Web site. Starting with your other advertising campaigns. For instance, always put our Web address in your print ads, add your URL to your business card, Yellow page ads, and business stationary. Put it on your products or packaging. Invest in advertising specialty items like pens, mouse pads, and squeeze balls that you can just give away. Items that people will use at there desk or computer are especially effective! Use your car to advertise your Web site by getting a magnetized door panel. If you live in the city and commute through downtown, put your URL on the roof of your vehicle. Do you know how many people are looking out their office window, down at you, as you drive to and from work each day? A lot of them are! These are just a few ideas that have already proven to be effective methods of offline Web promotion.
